Responsibilities:

• Manage and support operational safety across ramp and operational areas, ensuring compliance with ISAGO requirements, OSH legislation, and regulatory authorities. 
• Demonstrate strong safety leadership by promoting positive safety behaviours, hazard identification, and effective safety reporting.
• Conduct and/or supervise safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across ramp, cargo, and operational activities; provide reports with practical recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare investigation reports, and recommend preventive measures to mitigate risks and prevent recurrence.
• Support the Assistant Safety Manager in enhancing and maintaining Safety Management Systems (SMS), ensuring effectiveness and continuous improvement.
• Monitor contractors’ and line departments’ safety performance; support implementation of safety management programmes.
• Coordinate with departments to conduct risk assessments and review operational safety procedures and regulations.
• Prepare safety reports, statistics, and briefing materials for committees including SRC, SAG, and SC; serve as member/secretary where required.
• Manage and maintain safety databases, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Tertiary education in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline.
• Preferably a Registered Safety Officer (RSO).
• Minimum of 4 years’ solid experience in safety management within a relevant business environment or a sizeable organisation.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in managing Safety Management Systems, including ISO 45001.
• Exposure to laundry or industrial operations will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality work with strong organisational and analytical skills.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other PC applications.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a proactive, tactful, and results-oriented mindset.
• Holder of a valid driving licence (Class 1 and 2) is an advantage.
