
What you need to do?
- Ensure every production and assemble operation fully complies to the agreed Standard
Operating Procedure (SOP) and is of high-quality services to customers by fulfilling
airline’s requirements and standards. - Ensure the exact quantity of high-quality products to be delivered on board with
continuous on-time performance and quality assurance by working closely with
Operations Services Department and Food Production Department. - Plan and prioritize operational activities with relevant parties to achieve departmental
performance targets and accomplish corporate goals. - Establish production plans based on projections, seasonal schedules, historical trends,
and manpower resources. - Schedule the activities, tasks, and work of all supervisors, assigning and directing the
resources in its respective area to meet the plan goals. - Monitors and guards the agreed management Operating System food hygiene and safety
standards to stay within set targets and industry benchmarks. - Manages the Inventory of rotable and disposable equipment.
- Ensures food hygiene and safety standards to stay within set targets and industry
benchmarks. - Ensures conformity for customer audits and routine checks in respect of his functional
areas. - Ensures work safety under occupational health and industrial safety regulations.
- Organizes and facilitates departmental in-house training and coaching on his functional
areas. - Ensures compliance to quality standards such as ISO standards and updates respective
information regularly. - Conforms to HACCP set standards in his respective area of accountability.
- Monitors facility / equipment cleaning within the department with the assistance of FAC
and subcontractors. - Establishes cleaning and maintenance schedules.
- Monitors and controls balanced equipment supply and flow.
- Identifies maintenance and repair issues to be followed up with ENG.
- Prepares the monthly duty schedule for his respective sections.
- Leads and facilitates precise and focused meetings on his functional areas.
- Attends relevant meetings, workshops, committees, and task forces and reports back to
the General Manager. - Devises and prepares flow charts, instruction manuals, planners, schedules, posters and
handbooks. - Coordinates operational and strategic planning, training, and development.
We are interested in speaking with individuals if you are:
- Tertiary Educated, preferably in operations management, business management or
engineering related discipline. - Minimum of 8 years practical in the field of line assembly, automated systems, and
internal supply chain management preferably in food related manufacturing units, with at
least 5 years in supervisory or managerial role - Ability to synthesize complex operational data (productivity rates, forecast variances) to
make justified, objective business decisions. Must be comfortable defending decisions
with data-backing rather than intuition. - Ability to identify operational deficiencies and implement sustainable, bottom-line
improvements. - A strong "people person" capable of bridging the gap between management strategy
and frontline execution. - Demonstrated ability to lead teams through process changes and improvements using
Lean Management methodologies. - Knowledge of lean management associated techniques and methodologies.
- Knowledge of MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning) and ERP system.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, HACCP, and occupational safety regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and statistical tools.
