Cathay Subsidiary Services consists of several independent departments that provides professional services to Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Company’), including but not limited to Cathay Cargo Terminal, Cathay Dining, HAS by Cathay and Vogue Laundry.

Senior Marketing and Communications Executive
Department:  Customer & Commercial
Job Location:  Hong Kong International Airport, Lantau Island

Responsibilities:

  • Content Marketing and Storytelling:
  1. Support the creation and delivery of engaging content that resonates with our target audience. Assist in developing stories around our products, services, and brand to build customer interest. 
  2. Produce high-quality content for various platforms, including blogs, social media, email campaigns, and the website, to help raise brand awareness and encourage customer engagement.
  • Marketing Collateral Support:
  1. Contribute to the development and updating of marketing materials, such as sales presentations and newsletters, to assist the sales team.
  2. Ensure that all collateral is accurate, on-brand, and effectively communicates key messages and our value proposition.
  • Social Media Platform Execution:
  1. Manage day-to-day activities across company social media channels (such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  2. Create, schedule, and publish content that aligns with our brand voice and objectives. Monitor social media engagement, respond to comments and enquiries, and identify opportunities to grow our online community.
  • Digital Marketing Execution and Reporting:
  1. Assist with the implementation of digital marketing campaigns to support SEO and online visibility. Help manage Google Ads and other paid campaigns, ensuring accurate execution and monitoring of results. Use tools such as Google Analytics to track key website metrics, gather insights, and support the team in reporting and optimising campaigns.
  • Communications Support:
  1. Apply understanding of the media and marketing landscape to help implement effective communication initiatives. 
  2. Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices in marketing and communications.
  • Event and Corporate Tour Management:
  1. Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate events, company dinners, and facility tours for clients and stakeholders.
  2. Ensure all logistical arrangements are handled smoothly to deliver a professional and engaging brand experience.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience in photoshooting and photo editing is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related professional experience.
  • Strong awareness of potential risks in corporate communications and public relations.
  • Candidates with experience in the aviation, cargo, ground handling, catering, or retail industries have a definite advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, presentation, project planning, and management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Self-motivated, detail-minded, result-oriented, and highly organized personality.
  • Able to work effectively under tight timelines and pressure.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese. Mandarin proficiency would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing. Experience with Wix is an advantage.
