Responsibilities:

• Supervise the laboratory team of under the Food Safety Department to fulfil defined sampling plan.
• Develop and maintain Quality Control Points for the company to enhance the fulfillment of products and services specifications.
• Regularly review the control points with associate target for the key processes identified and monitor their performance.
• Lead the QC team to conduct routine QC check at various Quality Control Points. Collect and analyze the data, and provide performance review report for the management team.
• Facilitate and coordinate with internal departments to fulfill customer expectation on food safety and quality.
• Train up workgroup, QC and line operators by providing adequate guidance and training through different channels.
• Assist in managing the quality standards with regular updates on quality and food safety documents. Update line departments for the execution.
• Initiate corrective and preventive action to prevent current or new product, process or system non-conformance, so as the drive the continual improvement process.
• Coordinate with the QA team within the department for cross functional projects.
• Lead and engage in LEAN projects.
• Participate in various quality inspections & audits and other ad hoc projects as assigned by the department head.

Requirements:

• Degree holder of Food Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience, preferably gained from food production or catering services with minimum 3 years in supervisory level.
• Hands on experience in ISO/HACCP auditing
• With LEAN project experience is an advantage. 
• Proficient with MS Office applications. 
• Strong analytical, organizing and planning skills & problem-solving skills.
• Good coaching and facilitation skills. 
• Good command of written and spoken Cantonese and English.
