Responsibilities:

Project Implementation & Support
- Assist Engineering Manager in implementing projects to meet business and operational requirements.
- Support ad hoc enhancement/improvement projects from feasibility study, design development, tendering, execution, to handover.
- Projects may involve Material Handling System (MHS), Non-MHS equipment, and Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OHSE).
- Contractor Supervision
- Supervise maintenance contractors for MHS, Facility, and Non-MHS equipment.
- Ensure contractor performance meets Service Level Agreements (SLA) and delivers value for money.
- Monitor timely completion of work and ensure fault reports are satisfactorily closed.
- Maintenance Management
- Ensure thorough application of Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) procedures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting systems.
- Coordinate for spare parts procurement for Maintenance tasks.
- Emergency & Breakdown Coordination
- Coordinate with internal and external parties during emergency breakdowns.
- Supervise contractors for fault diagnosis, downtime estimation, and corrective actions.
- Support managers during emergency or crisis situations.
- Shift Duty & System Monitoring
- Perform shift duties as required, including 24-hour coverage and emergency attendance during off-hours and typhoons.
- Stationed at Terminal Control Centre (TCC) to monitor MHS operational and technical performance.
- Supervise MHS maintenance contractors from Engineering Control Room.
- Liaise with System Controller Team at TCC regarding MHS status, estimated downtime, and solutions to maintain cargo handling operations.
- Prepare daily operational and management reports.
- Carry out other tasks as assigned by superiors.
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma / Certificate or Degree in Engineering;
- A minimum of 6 years post qualification work experience with not less than 2 years at supervisory level;
- Good interpersonal skills and good written and communication skills in both Chinese and English;
- Good computer knowledge in MS Office. Good knowledge and skills on computer aid system for system control. Knowledge in using AutoCAD should be an advantage;
- Good supervisory skills;
- Able to work independently and detail-oriented;
- Perform shift duty as requested.
