Cathay Cargo Terminal operates one of the world's most advanced air cargo terminals, offering world-class cargo handling services for Cathay Cargo and other international airline customers operating at Hong Kong International Airport.
As the Cargo Services Officer (Customer Services), you will be responsible for direct customer services, processing of cargo document including preparation of import, export, transshipment documents, cargo tracing, control of cargo equipment and post flight activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a customer centric cargo terminal experience to our customers.
- Responsible for cargo documentation in relation to import, export, transhipment smooth handling.
- Execute cargo load plan or booking instructions to ensure shipment flown as booked.
- Plan maximum utilization of cargo capacity/weight for ULD and aircraft loading.
- Handle customer enquiries and follow up cargo tracing, claims and post flight handling.
- Maintain and control inventory of aircraft/cargo loading equipment.
- Liaise with different parties, namely government, ramp handling operators, airlines and etc.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- HKCEE/HKDSE qualification or equivalent.
- Solid experience from cargo terminal operations, warehousing, distribution centre, freight forwarding, supply chain or logistics would be a definite advantage.
- Responsible, attentive to details and ability to work independently.
- Good command in both spoken English and Cantonese. Proficiency in Putonghua would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in PC skills such as MS Word & Excel.
- Willingness to working on shift duties, including overnight shifts.
- Candidates with more experiences would be considered as Senior Cargo Services Officer.
- Fresh graduates are also welcome.
Working Hours:
- Average 5 days’ work week, 9 hours work per day including meal break.
- Shift duties are required starting with 07:00 – 16:00/ 15:00 – 24:00/ 23:00 – 08:00 (Subject to operation needs).
