The Supervisor Trainee Programme aims to develop future frontline supervisors for our operations in the air cargo terminal, in-flight catering, ground handling and laundry services businesses with the subsidiaries of Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Company’), including but not limited to Cathay Cargo Terminal, Cathay Dining, HAS by Cathay and Vogue Laundry Service Limited.

Throughout the two-year career development programme, our Supervisor Trainees will have the opportunity to work in operational departments in the subsidiary while participating in a series of on-the-job and development programme. You will work closely with experienced professionals, learn the fundamentals of operational excellence, and develop essential skills in leading teams, process management, and problem-solving. At the end of the programme, our Supervisor Trainees will have a solid understanding of our business operations and the supervisory capabilities to manage teams effectively and drive performance.

Upon successful completion of the programme, Supervisor Trainees will be appointed to a Supervisor or equivalent role within the subsidiary, where they will be responsible for supervising teams and ensuring operational success.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in planned rotations across operational departments to build comprehensive business and operational knowledge.
• Perform frontline tasks to support smooth workflows and high service standards.
• Handle daily customer, consumer, and partner enquiries and coordinate with internal departments.
• Support departmental operations, documentation, service processes, and problem resolution.
• Assist management with ad-hoc duties and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to building a safe, efficient, and customer-focused working environment. 

Requirements:

• Diploma holder & above in any disciplines (DSE graduates may also be considered).
• A genuine passion for a professional career in air cargo terminal, in-flight catering, ground handling and/or laundry services industry.
• Fresh graduates with less than 2 years’ working experience will also be considered.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in air cargo terminal/ in-flight catering/ground handling/ laundry industry are preferrable.
• Capability to be a self-starter with initiative, a positive and Can-Do working attitude and willingness to accept challenges.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Chinese processing.
• Shift duty is required.
