Cathay Subsidiary Services consists of several independent departments that provides professional services to Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Company’), including but not limited to Cathay Cargo Terminal, Cathay Dining, HAS by Cathay and Vogue Laundry.
Responsibilities:

Coach and mentor team members, fostering an environment which enables a high performance culture.

Monitor accuracy of task execution through active engagement in related projects and tasks.

Define internal SLAs for the Supply Chain & Logistics team to ensure timely completion/execution of all assigned tasks, especially for time critical orders.

Oversee commercial claims / reported product deficiencies as required.

Develop a deep understanding of the relevant purchasing systems/channels and processes within CDI ensuring these are accurately used by the team.
-
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures across the team and business units for cases in which procurement is not directly involved.

Other ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements:

University graduate; a business- or procurement-related degree an advantage.

Minimum 3 years of relevant commercial experience in a relevant environment.

Strong background in procurement.
-
Relevant experience in cost evaluation and contract management.
-
Strong influencing and commercial skills.
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively develop relationships with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
-
Effective leadership and change management skills.
-
Strong mathematical abilities and strong computer skills.
-
Fluent in spoken English, Mandarin a plus.
