Responsibilities :

• Work closely with internal stakeholders and drive the procurement processes from the budget review, RFP preparation, financial analysis, negotiation, and evaluation to contracting.
• Take responsibility for category management, such as undertaking spend and supply market analysis as well as and identifying strategic initiatives/synergies across the subsidiaries
• Within key categories or with major suppliers, support the relevant Procurement Manager to rollout Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)in order to ensure that service quality/delivery meets contractual commitments and to enable the subsidiaries to  explore new insights/initiatives from the supply base
• Lead contract and commercial negotiations with suppliers to obtain the best value for the subsidiaries.
• Explore procurement synergies within the Cathay Group as well as with associate companies.
• Other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement experience in a commercial setting.
• Relevant experience in supply market analysis, cost evaluation, and contract management is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and commercial skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effective leadership and change management skills.
• Proficient in computer skills, Eg, MS Word, Excel.
• Fluent in spoken English, Mandarin a plus.
